How to get there

 

West from A69
Take the slip road off the A69 signposted Throckley and Newburn. Follow the A6085 (Newburn Rd) to Newburn. Traffic Lights at the junction with Station Rd (signed to the Country Park) turn right. Turn right at the Newburn Hotel (signed to Country Park) onto Grange Rd. Follow Grange Rd past the entrance to Newburn Leisure Centre. Follow the signs around to the left, past the entrance to the Keelman pub. The Visitor Centre is on the right.

 

From A1 north and south
 A 69 follow the signs for Hexham onto the A69 (Denton roundabout). Heading west, take third exit from A69 signed to Throckley and Newburn and follow route as above.
